Located near the Gave de Pau river, Saint-Cricq du Gave has lovely observation points overlooking the Landes and Béarn. Santiago de Compostela pilgrims pass through the village. Before the bridge was built, a ferryboat carried them across the Gave. Incidentally, a stopover point for pilgrims was set up in the village.
